The Jinxiu Yellow Peach is produced in Guangming Town, Shanghai. It is easy to store and can usually be kept for 7 to 10 days after being picked. Due to its thick and firm flesh, it is very suitable for long-distance transportation. The fruit has an attractive appearance, with golden yellow flesh and a uniform and symmetrical shape. The largest fruit can weigh around 700 grams. Its sugar content is higher than that of Nanhu蜜桃 and Wuxi Flat Peach, averaging between 13% and 15%. The fruit pit is small.
When fully ripe, the flesh becomes relatively soft - with a tender and chewy texture, a sweet flavor, low acidity, and an inviting aroma. The juice is just right in quantity, and the taste is enticing. The typical harvest period is from mid-August to early September, making it an ideal choice for the autumn fruit market.
