Description:
Ruiyu is a premium green-fleshed kiwifruit variety, bred by the Shaanxi Rural Science and Technology Development Center from the cross of 'Qinmei' and 'K56'. Officially certified in 2015 and granted National Plant Variety Rights protection in 2017, this variety has been recognized as one of the top-quality domestic kiwifruit cultivars.

A Gold Award Winner:
In 2018, Ruiyu won both the Gold Award and the Best Flavor Award at the First National Premium Kiwifruit Tasting Competition. Academic research confirms that Ruiyu contains richer volatile compounds and more complex aromas than both 'Hayward' and 'Sungold', with a significantly higher proportion of esters that give it outstanding fruity sweetness.

Appearance:
The fruit is long cylindrical to slightly flattened with a brown skin covered in golden-yellow coarse fuzz. The flesh is green, fine-textured, juicy, and aromatic.
