The content of soluble solids was 14.2%. The sugar content measured on-site was 16.3%. The shelf life of fully ripe fruits at room temperature is 4 to 5 days.

This variety has a strong growth habit when young, and its growth habit becomes moderate after fruiting. The tree has a semi-open posture. The leaf color is pale. The short fruit branches have the best fruiting performance. The self-pollination rate is high, and the tree has strong resistance to gummosis disease. Generally, it starts fruiting in the third year, is put into production in the fourth year, and enters the peak fruiting period in the fifth year. The fruit growth and development period lasts for 120 to 130 days. Bud break occurs in early March, flowering begins in mid-March, reaches its peak in mid-March, and ends in late March. The fruit ripens in early August. The ripening period in the Hangjiahu area is slightly later. Through two-year (2012-2013) three-point experiments in Fenghua City, Xiangjiang District of Jiaxing City and Huzhou City, the average yield of 5-year-old trees is 1377.3 kilograms per mu, and the average yield of 6-year-old trees is 1489.3 kilograms per mu, which is 4.1% higher than that of the control variety 'Yulu' peach.
