Product Introduction

Product Name: Jingdongwan Mango (Jingdong Late Mango)

Description:
Jingdongwan Mango, also known as Jingdong Late Mango, is a premium late-season mango variety (Mangifera indica ‘Jingdongwan’) originating from Jingdong County, Yunnan Province, China. It was discovered in 1999 as a superior bud mutation of the Ivory Mango and officially certified by the Yunnan Provincial Forest Variety Approval Committee in 2017 (Approval No.: Yun S-SV-MI-007-2017) . The original mother tree has been designated as a National-Level Famous Tree (名木) , the only one of its kind in Pu‘er City .

A Mango That Owns the Late Season:

The defining feature of Jingdongwan Mango is its exceptional lateness. While most Chinese mangoes flood the market from May to August, Jingdongwan ripens from September to November – precisely filling the mango market's off-season gap . This strategic timing gives growers a significant market advantage, allowing them to supply fresh, high-quality mangoes when competition is minimal and prices are strong.

Appearance & Flavor:
The fruit is ivory-shaped or kidney-shaped, with a distinctive beak-like tip and a slender, elegant form . When fully ripe, the skin turns a beautiful golden yellow with a smooth, glossy finish . Inside, the flesh is golden-yellow, tender, and bursting with juice, with very few fibers. Soluble solids content reaches an impressive 22.74% Brix, with total sugar of 15.98%–18.2% and remarkably low acidity of just 0.24% – delivering a pure, honey-sweet flavor that is highly appealing .

Key Commercial Advantages:

  • Late-Season Market Window – Harvested from September to November, filling the autumn mango gap

  • Ultra-High Sugar Content – 22.74% Brix for an exceptionally sweet flavor

  • Large Fruit Size – Average 419.6g, with premium fruit reaching 450g+

  • High Edible Rate – 77%–80.56% edible, with a thin seed

  • Excellent Yield – 1,808.4 kg per mu at full production, with no biennial bearing

  • Cold & Drought Tolerant – Adapted to the dry-hot valley climates of Yunnan
