The "Wanhu Jingtuo" peach is a peach tree variety that has been improved through natural seedling selection using the above-mentioned sea-bred peaches as parents. It belongs to the medium-to-late ripening, high-soluble sugar type of watermelon peach series. The fruit of this variety is fully mature with sufficient moisture content, presenting a high-soluble sugar characteristic when fully ripe, and having a crisp and sweet taste during the seven-ripening stage.
Maturity time: It usually ripens from late July to mid-August each year, about two weeks later than ordinary early-maturing watermelon peaches.
• Taste and flavor: The flesh is crisp and sweet when it is seven-ripening, becomes soft when fully ripe, has abundant juice and extremely high sugar content, and belongs to a richly sweet type of watermelon peach.
• Appearance: The fruit skin has a base color of white or green with a red tint, short and sparse hairs, with an average single fruit weight of about 250 grams, and larger ones can exceed 500 grams.
